Rockaway Beach Cleanup

Stevenson students traveled to Rockaway Beach to participate in a beach cleanup with the Surfrider Foundation, who shared data on the results of their efforts. A representative from the Surfrider Foundation shared, "Students from RLS helped clean the beach at Rockaway Beach… and collected over 20 pounds of trash. Their efforts not only keep our communities clean but also allow Surfrider Foundation to use data to influence laws and reduce waste at the source."
